Prior to pursuing law Rick worked in finance and banking industries. After completing law school he articled and became a partner with the firm now known as Shibley Righton LLP. Rick has been a partner of our firm since 1996.

Rick practises in corporate and commercial law with an emphasis on corporate finance including lending, factoring, corporate reorganizations, acquisitions and shareholder agreements. His clients range from small to medium-size enterprises to national-sized corporations.

Personally, Rick is actively involved in his community. He serves as house league division Convener for Toronto Leaside Girls Hockey League and as a team trainer.

Rick has three children. He enjoys traveling with his family, cross-country skiing, cycling, participating in his kids hockey and other exploits, singing in Toronto's one and only community rock choir, reading and the occasional game of golf.
